They both head into their games knowing that if they can win then they will finish top of their respective competitions and be crowned champions.
Spain are in Trelleborg to take on Sweden at 3pm local time (1pm UTC) and if they can make it three victories from three in the women’s Rugby Europe Championship then they will leapfrog Netherlands and retain the silverware that they won last year.
They have put themselves into this position thanks to a recent bonus point win over Portugal which was followed up by a triumph over Netherlands last week.
Sweden have lost two from two to sit bottom of the four-team tournament standings, but they have not had a home match in quite a long time so they will be enthused by the opportunity to perform in front of family and friends.
However, they will start as massive underdogs as Spain are 13 in the world with Sweden 20th.

Over in the men’s Rugby Europe Trophy there is a similar scenario brewing with second placed Switzerland knowing they must defeat Ukraine to leapfrog current leaders Sweden to finish top and earn promotion to the Championship.
The match is in Zurich at 3.30pm local time (1.30pm UTC) and, most recently, Switzerland defeated Croatia 35-10 with a bonus point on March 23 to make this a possibility.
Switzerland have won four from four to date in this six-team tournament while Ukraine have lost all four that they have played and know they need a positive result themselves to avoid the possibility of finishing bottom.
They will have taken confidence from pushing Sweden hard last week before losing 36-24, but they are 55th in the world with Switzerland up at 26, so this will be a tough ask for them
