Rugby Europe has announced the remaining calendar of events for 2025 which includes the various levels of 7s competition, youth competitions and the European Beach Championship.
It promises to be another action-packed season with 19 events taking place in eight countries and 176 different teams taking part.
The two legs of the Men’s 7s Championship Series will remain in the same venues as last year, with Makarska and Hamburg hosting the competition in June.
This season Makarska will also be the first leg of the Men’s and Women’s Trophy Series, with the second leg being awarded to Moldova, where the tournament will take place in Chisinau.
Men’s and Women’s Conference 1 will consist of one leg and for the first time a Rugby Europe 7s event will take place in Ordino, Andorra.
For the first time, Kosovo will host a European Championship, with Men’s Conference 2 tournament to be held in Pristina on June 21 and 22.
Rugby Europe will also highlight the younger generations with the Rugby Europe Girls and Boys U18 7s Championship which will be held in Bourgoin-Jallieu, France, on July 12 and 13, 2025. The tournament will feature six girls and 12 boy’s teams.
The U18 Trophy level will take place again in Budapest, Hungary, from July 18 to 20, 2025, with 8 girls' teams and 13 boys teams taking to the field.
The Rugby Europe Men and Women Beach Championship will be returning to Chisinau, Moldova, on August 23 and 24, 2025. The exact number of participating teams is yet to be confirmed, but more information will be announced nearer the time.
The youth XV competitions will again be held in Prague, Czechia where the previous two editions have taken place and will continue to do so following a signing of a 4-year hosting agreement signed last year. Dates 15 to 23 November.
